My D&D Music is a small, free passion project. We currently don't sell your personal information, run targeted advertising, or use third-party analytics or marketing trackers.

Here's the short version of what does happen with your data.

What we collect

If you create an account, we store basic account information such as your email address, display name, account ID, and profile image (if provided).

We also store the things you add to your library, including music links, titles, tags, notes, ratings, and playback history.

Please don't put sensitive personal information in your track names, notes, tags, or URLs.

Why we use it

Mostly for the obvious reason: to make My D&D Music work.

We use this information to authenticate you, save and display your library, organize your tracks, remember your preferences, and provide the features of the service.

Cookies

We use cookies or similar technology necessary to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences, such as whether your sidebar is open.

We don't currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.

Who processes your data

My D&D Music uses third-party providers to operate the service, including Clerk for authentication and Replit and its infrastructure providers for hosting, databases, and storage.

When you load content from services such as YouTube or SoundCloud, those services may receive information from your browser and process it according to their own privacy policies.

Links to services such as Ko-fi take you to an external website. My D&D Music doesn't process those payments.

How long we keep it

We generally keep your account and library information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or protect the service.

Want your data deleted?

Email mydndmusicapp [at] gmail [dot] com to request deletion of your account and associated personal data.

Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights regarding your personal information, such as requesting access, correction, or deletion. Email us and we'll respond as required by applicable law.

A few final things

My D&D Music is based in New Jersey, USA and is available to users in other countries. Your information may therefore be processed or stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no online service can promise perfect security. Please protect your account credentials and don't store sensitive information in your music library.

We may update this policy as My D&D Music changes. If we ever add things like analytics or advertising, we'll update this policy accordingly.
